Our name begins with the word, "FOUND," as in discovery, find, innovation and exploration. Which, also happens to be the words that describe why people travel.
The "RE" means 'in reference to'. So when you're at FOUND:RE Phoenix, you have the opportunity to discover all kinds of things – amazing art, brilliant food, and a community of locals and visitors, enjoying themselves together.
Plus, when you say FOUND:RE, it sounds like FOUNDRY, which describes the industrial-yet-inviting design aesthetic of the hotel itself.

We're on the NW corner of Central and Portland, downtown Phoenix, between two parks, by a light rail stop (you can get to us from the airport for two bucks), next door to a castle (yes, a real castle) and 300 feet from an insanely cool library.

FOUND:RE Phoenix sits where several historic neighborhoods converge, is next to Roosevelt Row (one of America's top 10 city arts districts – thank you USA Today!) is mere blocks from the Phoenix Art Museum, Arizona Opera, Symphony Hall, the Convention Center, sports arenas and theatres, and is surrounded by awesome eateries, art galleries, ASU, and more. FOUND:RE Phoenix is a one-of-a-kind lifestyle hotel experience with details, designs, public spaces and amenities inspired by local contemporary art, culture, fashion and music. The 104-room hotel welcomes guests and Valley residents to an experience of locally curated art, plush accommodations and creative programming woven throughout the stay from the moment of check-in. The on-site restaurant, MATCH Market & Bar, sparks as Phoenix's newest culinary dining destination.
The entire hotel acts as a large gallery with multiple art spaces and experiences sprinkled throughout. Meeting space, the Studio and the Gallery, feature a roster of rotating shows, pop-ups and artists throughout the year. The hotel's opening has forever changed the landscape of Downtown Phoenix with a captivating 6 story tall digital projection exterior light installation. Additionally, an outdoor display box provides omnipresent public art by exhibiting ever-changing, avant-garde masterpieces created by local artists.
For each of the guestrooms, on-site restaurant and public spaces, FOUND:RE has partnered with prolific design experts to create an industrial, raw aesthetic throughout. The guest rooms and suites offer an original blend of well-wrought design and welcoming gravitas; think concrete floors, exposed ceiling and floating beds. The hotel also has custom-designed room numbers by local artist Cheryl Marine. It is all instep with the hotel's ethos that guests "find themselves," tapping into their inner artist.
And no matter where you are in the hotel, if you like something you see (or hear, or taste), odds are you can purchase it and have it shipped home.
Each guestroom is slightly different with its own look and art, creating a unique experience. Every time a guest visits, they get to sleep with a different artists' work in their room.
Within the hotel, MATCH Market & Bar, is an extension of the art and lifestyle core of the property. The menu offers a selection of eclectic, comfort food in a fun and vibrant atmosphere.
